Invoice Maker: Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 18, 2026
This notice explains what happens to your information in Invoice Maker (Google Play package io.aetherstudios.invoice.maker), published by Aether Studios Co Ltd. It covers this app only. Our other apps are described in the company privacy notice.
The short version
Invoice Maker has no account and no server of ours to sign in to. Your invoices, clients and everything else you type stay on your device, and we never receive them. The app connects to the internet for two things only: to show ads, and to talk to Google Play about purchases. Buying Pro removes the ads.
Table of Contents
Everything you create in the app is stored in the app’s private storage on your device: your business profile and logo, clients, invoices, estimates, credit notes, saved items, payments, expenses and their receipt photos, tracked time, job reminders, and the PDFs the app produces. We have no copy of any of it, and no way to read it.
- Sharing a PDF. A document leaves the app only when you share it yourself. Where it goes then — email, a messaging app, cloud storage — is up to the app you picked and its own privacy policy.
- Backups. The backup file the app creates is written to the location you choose. It is not uploaded anywhere. If you put it in a cloud folder, that cloud service holds it, not us.
- Receipt photos. Receipt capture opens your device’s own camera app. The photo, and any text the app reads from it, stay on your device — the text recognition runs offline on the device itself.
- Contacts. If you choose to create a client from your contacts, your device’s contact picker hands the app only the one contact you pick. The app does not read your contact list, and what you pick is saved on your device like anything else you type.
- Uninstalling. Removing the app removes this data from your device. If you have no backup file, it cannot be recovered — not by you and not by us.
Invoice Maker has no accounts, no sign-in and no backend of ours. We do not collect, store or transmit your business data. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting service, and no tracking software of any kind. We cannot see how you use the app, and nothing you type reaches us unless you email it to us yourself.
The free version of Invoice Maker shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may process your device’s advertising ID, your IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), and how you interact with an ad. This is handled by Google, not by us: we receive only aggregate earnings figures and never learn who saw or tapped an ad. How Google uses this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Your choice. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google’s consent form. Wherever that consent applies, the app also shows an Ad privacy row in Settings, so you can reopen the form and change your answer at any time.
- Resetting the advertising ID. Your advertising ID belongs to your device, not to the app. You can reset it, or delete it entirely, in Android’s own settings under Privacy → Ads.
- Removing ads. Buying Invoice Maker Pro removes every ad from the app immediately.
Invoice Maker Pro is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment and tells the app whether a purchase is active; we never see your card details, address or Google account. The app keeps a record of the purchase on your device so it knows to unlock Pro features while you are offline. What Google does with payment information is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
- Internet. Used for ads and for Google Play purchases. Nothing else in the app sends anything over the network.
- Advertising ID. Used by the Google ads software, as described in section 3. Buying Pro stops the ads, and with them the use of the identifier.
- Notifications. Asked for only when you set up something that needs to notify you — a job reminder, a backup reminder or the running timer. Declining it leaves the rest of the app working normally.
- Camera. The app has no camera permission of its own. Receipt capture hands you over to your device’s camera app and receives the photo back.
Invoice Maker is a business tool intended for adults, and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children — in this app, we do not collect personal information from anyone.
Rights such as access, correction, export and erasure normally apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none from this app, so those controls live on your device, where you can use them at any time:
- Edit or delete clients, documents and other records inside the app.
- Export everything to a backup file, or to CSV, from Import & export.
- Uninstall the app, which removes its data from the device.
- Change your ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy, or reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask us at the address below and we will delete it.
If the app starts doing something this notice does not describe, we will update the notice and change the date at the top before that version of the app is released.
